Running: Treadmill vs. Outdoors

Hello!

Fit for 5K begins!  I can't think of a better way to start off this program than a nice running article.  It gets you in the mood and ready to go indoors or outdoors.  I think this article gives some great advice in how to have your treadmill workouts mimic your run and how to use both to prepare you for your next race.  It even touches upon fluid intake and how to make your workouts more fun.  Missed the deadlines to sign up?  That's alright!  JOHO staff can give you our 6 week program and you can get started.  It's no problem if you are a few days late.  It has an extensive running program for beginner and intermediate runners combined with a strength and stretch program.  Good luck!
