I really enjoyed reading this article because I think it will be a great tool for all of you. This is a HUGE misconception. Most people think that to lose fat you should do a lot of cardio. While it's important to keep cardio in your program, weight lifting should also be done regularly in your workouts. Weight lifting has a lot of benefits for your body including metabolism and fat loss. This is a topic I am very passionate about and I'm always encouraging people, especially females, to try out some different exercises. Unlike the female picture seen in this article, you will not get bulky if you start lifting weights. That is a very very small percentage of the female population and a very specific diet, including supplements. Plus, lifting weights can help slow down sarcopenia which is a loss of muscle mass as you age. Doing a strength program at least 2 times a week could help reach your fitness goals and improve your quality of life later on!
