4 Steps to Cut Coffee Calories
Did you know that a 16-ounce Mocha Latte has 15 grams of fat and 330 calories?? Here are a few easy steps to cut back on some of those calories while still enjoying a nice coffee drink :)
Step 1: Cut out whip cream
Whip cream is pure fat, so by cutting this out you'll eliminate 70 calories and 7 grams of fat
Step 2: Switch to non fat (or soy) milk
Although milk contains calcium, whole milk also contains a lot of extra fat and calories. Next time you order, ask for non fat or even soy milk to cut 40 calories and 5 grams of fat
Step 3: Order sugar-free syrup
Any kind of espresso coffee drink that has a flavor, like mocha or vanilla, adds a large amount of sugar. By switching to sugar-free, you save 80 calories and 1.5 grams of fat
Step 4: Take out the sugar syrup altogether and order a cafe latte
By cutting out the sugary syrup altogether, you can eliminate 10 more calories and 1.5 grams of fat
