Mix It Up: Horse Push-up!

Hey Everyone!

How did you like those songs?  Pretty good right?  I'm sure you found at least a couple that got you going!  Well today let's "Mix It Up" with a new body weight exercise.  After hearing about fitness trends last week in our treadmill talks, you'll know that body weight exercises are one of the top trends hitting the fitness industry today.  It's all about functional fitness and being able to lift your own body weight is a first step in building a stronger you.  It also can help to strengthen some of your smaller stabilizing muscles and joints.  In body weight training, you are on your wrists and jumping between positions.  These over time will help build stronger wrist, ankle, and knee joints.  Now don't get me wrong, if you already have a joint condition then a modification will be necessary.  Luckily, your JOHO staff can modify these exercises to whatever your level or needs are.   

This is a great exercise to try with a TRX as well!
