Sugar Surprises!

Hey All, 

In honor of our "Can You Keep It Clean" program, I am going to talk about added sugar.  The program we are currently running is a 7 day low sugar diet.  I say low sugar because compared to what most people eat, this is a drastic change!  We are really encouraging members to eat your recommended daily value of added sugar which is 40 grams.  Without realizing it, you will start venturing more to raw foods and less to processed foods.  Why?  Because processed foods add a ton of sugar!  Here is a little article explaining our sugar cravings and a few tips as well.  I encourage everyone to pick one aspect of their diet whether it is sugar or sodium and strive to eat their recommended daily value for one week.  It is amazing how much better you will start feeling once you get past those initial cravings!
