Boosting Your Mental Health

Hey Guys,

I have a question that I want you to really digest.  What does wellness mean to you?  Does it mean exercise and nutrition?  Getting enough sleep?  Living an active life?  I personally think wellness encompasses all aspects of life with a overall drive to be happy.  On the one side, physical wellness can decrease your risk of disease and provide self esteem through body image (That's great!).  On the other hand, your mental state is what will keep you on track with your goals and disciplined .  Creating a change in your life starts with your mind and your goals.  If you are not mentally ready to go to the gym four times a week then you won't see the changes you desire.  The same goes for any aspect of wellness; sleeping, eating, being active, etc....  Not only does mental health help you begin a journey but it also helps improve your quality of life.  The outlook on your life and the people involved can all change (or maintain) by being in a happy and peaceful state.  I encourage all of my readers to try meditation, a yoga class, or a personal session to assess your mental health.  Your body can do so much more once you're mind is on the same track.  Enjoy this little tidbit on why exercise will help boost your mental health and why you should prioritize it into your life!
