The Big Feast!

Hey Guys,

It is definitely an exciting week as preparation for Thanksgiving goes into full swing!  I can't wait for the turkey, pie, and my personal favorite, the stuffing.  Most Thanksgiving festivities include eating, watching football (or the Macy's Day Parade), and more eating.  Here are some helpful tips so you don't go into a food coma.  I also attached a nice diagram to keep you aware of the work you'll be doing later if you over indulge.

Thanksgiving Tips:
  • Unlike your turkey, don't stuff yourself.  I'm sure there will be plenty of leftovers.
  • Don't skip breakfast - this will be your portion control later on.
  • Eat everything in moderation.
  • Don't neglect the vegetables!  Fiber fills you up.
  • Wait 20 minutes before going back for seconds - You should know by this point if you are actually hungry.
  • Go for a walk thirty minutes after you eat instead of napping.
  • Help out in the kitchen!  Cooking and cleaning burns calories.
